The little man was helping me in the garden the other day. He certainly is developing some good habits!

You can almost feel the cheakyness coming out of that face.
I turned this shot into a black and white one because his face was so red from all of the running around that they had been doing.
Speaking of running, the kids have their cross country carnival coming up very soon, so Marlee has been taking the kids out for some training runs.
On Monday we all went for a run. About halfway into the run I started to feel an old soccer injury returning to my left knee, by the time we had finished the course i was having trouble walking. It has taken three days for the pain to subside, but thankfully everything is back to normal. I can still hear the words of the Dr who treated me after I did the initial injury, “One day you will have to that knee fixed”. It has been almost seven years now so I think that I can put it off a little longer.

Last weekend I was in sunny Brisbane at the Ignight08 conference. Si was the keynote speaker, and Waffle was his side kick. I was also asked if I could grab a couple of pictures of the event. Any excuse to get up in front of people and snap a few shots off. I took a fair number and it was a little bit of a challenge to get a good picture due to the low light. The one above was one of my favourites as it shows some action and also has a arty feel to it. What do you think?
