What a difference a week makes. Last weekend we were running around with netball and kids parties. This weekend we are confined to the house with the wet weather and poor Marlee has been very very sick. She has spent the last three days with spiking temperatures and coughing and spluttering, poor thing.
Praying that the kids and I don’t end up getting it.

So with the big wet and Marlee’s cold we have slowed right down, might even be able to get the camera out and take some proper photos!

What a busy day it has been for a day off, and it’s only 1:30pm

Up at 6:30am with Jordy,
7am off to the pool with three other mates for a 2km swimming session
Home to cook pancakes for breakfast with the kids.
After breakfast we decided to make some ANZAC biscuits with the kids. All of this talk about making food, this is beginning to sound like Amy’s blog!
After all of the cooking and then the cleaning up I had to setup for a photo of a coffee and bible. The result of this can be seen in the picture below.

As I am writing this we have just said goodbye to the girls, Marlee is off to work (thank you for the public holiday overtime!) And Alannah is off to her friend Emma’s for a play (Emma is the friend in the last post)

So once again it is the boys at home.

Time to stop take a breath and relax and have a coffee! Fat chance of that happening Jordy wants to “do sumpthng” and to “do it now!”

I very really post pictures of myself as myself… But when a friend took this one of Marlee and myself, I thought it was time to post it. Both of us realise how old we are looking!

As I mentioned yesterday I have a new Mac, all part of the new job, that I will talk about soon. But for those who own a Mac the following pictures are nothing new, but for those who have been PC based you will understand the fun that the kids had when they discovered this little program.

Just one more post for you!

I feel like I am starting to get behind in life again. I started the year off with pre planning things like, Oasis (Sunday School) preparation was usually all done by Wednesday night. This week it was all finished at 9am Sunday morning! Not good. I put it down to the fact that I have been having a number of one day weekends. Working weekends is OK if you take time off during the week, but when you don’t I find that I get behind.

Having said I was too busy, I did get to have a bit of fun late Saturday afternoon. Marlee was at work, Alannah had gone for a sleep over with her Godmother, and Jordy and I were at home. We did the “Lawns” as Jordy calls them. “Are we lawning today Dad?” Is one of my favourite sayings of his.

After we had done the lawns we decided to have a game of soccer. Jordy wanted to put on his soccer boots, and I decided to dust mine off as well. We had a great time just the boys kicking the soccer ball around. Then after a shower is was dinner on the couch! Leftover Pizza, some popcorn, Coke and a movie!

No wonder I didn’t get my Oasis material ready until Sunday morning. But if I can have a Saturday evening like that every week I wouldn’t care.
