DVD Promo
It’s a video on the blog!
Wow the wonders of modern technology. This is the promo for the DVD that will be distributed to school kids in Sydney. Lots of fun making the DVD and hopefully kids will also find it fun and challenging.
Opps!
This image appeared in todays online Sydney Morning Herald. The story was all about a lady who goes by the name of Elmo being kept out of Facebook because of her user name “Elmo”!
Somebody at the Herald put together a lovely picture of Elmo and Ollie! Not sure how you can mistake Ollie for Elmo, but hey as they say any publicity is good publicity!
Many thanks to Jared for discovering the picture.
Dolmio Grin.
Do you wear the Dolmio grin?
Have you heard that saying before? I am sure you have, well if you have spent anytime in front of commercial TV you would have. And if you are from England, then would have had to have been living under a rock to have not heard it.
It is the tag line for the Dolmio Pasta ad’s. And once again they are making another series of ads in Australia for the UK market place. And once again I get to work on them. a week and a half of rather long days, spent out at Fox Studios, enjoying good food, catching up with old friends and doing the occasional bit of work. A couple of years ago I read the last of the Harry Potter books during the shoot. (that should give you an idea of how hard we work!)
Anyway I will be taking the camera out but at this stage I will no photos as yet.
7 sleeps till show time….
7 sleeps till show time….
The Royal Easter Show that is. And for those who may be planning a trip out to the show if you are planning on coming on either Good Friday (21st) or the Saturday (22nd) then come on over to the ABC trailer, it is parked in the over flow area.
I will be there with Modi and Adam from Creature Features at 1:30 till 2pm on Friday and again on Saturday from 12:45 till 1:30 and then from 2:30pm till 3:30pm with Mixy.
Then a bit later with Ollie and as the show blurb says..
Ollie is a loveable monster who is energetic, playful and colourful. With a
creative imagination, Ollie loves to sing and dance with his friends,
shaking his furry yellow body around the stage.
Pre-schoolers can count and recite the alphabet with Ollie, as they dance
and sing together. His enthusiasm is infectious, with a fun and lively show.
Catch Ollie in The VB Shed from 28 March to 2 April, excluding 30 March,
at 10am to 12pm.
Look forward to seeing you there.
My World
There are times I find myself in interesting situations with my chosen career. Take for example tonight. I find myself writing this blog on my phone sitting in a puppet theatre out in Penrith CLC. (you get a glimps of my view from the strange looking picture above)
The band on stage is "rocking" as is the stage. I am slowly going deaf (I must be getting old complaining about the volume!) the kids and I do mean kids are jumping around singing their lungs out in praise.
Meanwhile I sit on my little puppet box in the semi darkness in my "second home" thinking about posting a blog!
Strange?
