I discovered on the weekend how to quickly spend almost $400 dollars!
Enroll your kids in Saturday sport. Yep you too can pay large amounts of money on insurance and council rates to allow your kids the joy of running about on a Saturday.

It might sound as if I am bitter, but really I am not and I did know that it was going to be an expensive little option to have the kids involved in Saturday sport, but we have put it off long enough.

Alannah is going to be playing for the Berowra Rebels Netball team, and just like her Aunties she is a good player already (she does have a height advantage!)She played netball at school last year and really enjoyed it, so when she did a small workshop at the end of last year we decided that she could play on the weekends this year.
Jordy is joining the under six Berowra Soccer Club. After the registration all he wanted to do was go home and get his soccer ball so that he could go and practice.

So it looks like our winter Saturdays are going to be taken up with sport. It is going to be fun!

Time for this young man to head off to school.

I will post a picture or two tomorrow along with a couple of thousand other bloggers, who are sending their young children off to school for the first time, in uniforms that are too big for them, and school shoes that will never ever be as clean as they are today.
