Come on Ref!

without comments

This photo was from a couple of weeks ago, but seeing that I didn’t take the camera to the game this week I thought I should add one.

It has been wonderful to watch the boys develop as players and also as a team, much of this is down to the super coach,  Mr Dodd.

Doddy has really been instrumental in getting the boys to work together as a team. Todays game saw the boys beat St Ives 4-3, it was a really great result especially considering last time they played they were beaten 8 nil!

Jordy was especially pleased to have scored a goal. It was a cracker, he smashed it from halfway and it went like a bullet into the back of the net, it wasn’t fluke as he almost pulled it a few minutes before hand.

But back to this shot, Jordy was actually complaining about the end of the match! He really was hoping that the game was not over.

Memories

without comments

Marlee took this picture for me!
The reason was that we were talking about one of my childhood memories, which was seeing a clothesline full of soccer jerseys. For me it brings back those Saturdays that were full of sport and fun, actually that is what are Saturdays are like now!!!

Sport Again!

without comments

I have the funny feeling that Monday morning posts are going to be sporting posts for a while. Hope you don’t mind too much.
Alannah’s team had a bye this week so we all headed off to see Jordy play.

Half time oranges, a tradition that still continues even in the age of the mighty sports drinks! Also much cheaper.
This photo is of one of Jordys team mates, Lachy. Lachy’s Mum was one of Alannah’s pre-school teachers, and his Dad is on old friend from St Paul’s Wahroonga days.
I just love the look that he has in his eyes.

The last is my favourite photo of the day, yes they won but more important they had fun, lots of it.
